Obituary of Edward Satoru Sumi
Edward will forever be remembered for his generosity, selflessness and his spirit of happiness. As it was rare to see him without a smile, we want to honor him and Celebrate his Life on Wednesday August 7th, 2019 at 11:00am at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre 6688 Southoaks Crescent, Burnaby.
For years Ed dedicated his life to Gardening and was so proud of his most recent front yard project. He was a lover of great music, so in the words of Irving Berlin;
“The song might be over, but the melody lingers on”.
Ed is survived by his love and soulmate of 40 years Marlene, as well as his cherished sisters Kathleen and Deborah. Gone before him to light his way are; parents Sakae and Tomomichi and sister Emiko.
"Forever in our Hearts"
